Core Principles Respect for Sacred Space- Maintain appropriate conduct befitting a mosque environment
- Follow mosque etiquette regarding shoes, dress code, and designated prayer areas
- Observe quiet hours during prayer times
- Keep the space clean and organized
- Treat all participants, organizers, and mentors with respect
- Use appropriate language and maintain professional behavior
- Practice active listening and constructive communication
- Welcome participants of all skill levels and backgrounds
- Show patience and support toward fellow participants
- Avoid discriminatory language or behavior
- Offer help to those who need it
- Take regular breaks for rest and prayer
- Stay hydrated and maintain personal well-being
- Notify organizers immediately of any safety concerns
- Follow all posted safety guidelines and emergency procedures
- Harassment or discrimination of any kind
- Disruptive or disrespectful behavior
- Damage to mosque property or facilities
- Use of prohibited substances
- Playing music without headphones
- Taking photographs without permission
- Entering restricted areas
- Regular prayer times will be announced
- Maintain low noise levels during prayer times
- Respect those who are praying
- Prayer facilities will remain accessible throughout the event
- Only halal food and beverages are permitted
- Eat in designated areas only
- Clean up after meals
- Dispose of waste properly
- Keep workspace organized and clean
- Use headphones for any audio
- Maintain appropriate volume levels
- Share common spaces considerately
If you experience or witness any violation of this code of conduct:
- Report immediately to event organizers
- Document the incident if possible
- Maintain confidentiality
- Follow organizer instructions
Violations of this code of conduct may result in:
- Verbal warning
- Written warning
- Temporary suspension from activities
- Removal from the event
- Ban from future events
